Aerostar is the only Romanian producer of landing gears hydraulic components for all types of aircraft made in the country, performed in accordance with the licence of the original producer or in accordance with our own developed documentation of such equipment.
By getting the specific approvals, qualification and authorisation of specific processes, the company aimed to increase the access on the market of the aviation hydro-pneumatic components.
Related to the field of aircraft landing gears, Aerostar S.A. is A2 level agreed supplier for Messier Dowty, for machining of complete products. During the assessment and selection survey, the company passed through an ample process with the view to fulfil the specific requirements, quality requirements required for the Messier Dowty suppliers.
At present, in the machining area dedicated to the production of landing gears & hydraulics, complex changes take place along with organizational actions for improvement of the technological flow, investments in CNC centres and machines, training of the personnel in accordance with the up-to-date technological requirements.
To obtain performances and expertise have been determined the key characteristics and a measures program is implemented for this purpose. The success of this program has a strategical importance to place Aerostar as major supplier for aviation components and landing gears.
