Programmes - Ground Defence Systems Integration
Concerning the activities in the field of ground defence systems, Aerostar acted for continuous development of the status as integration, manufacturing, modernization and maintenance house. The improvement of the technical expertise in this area of activity was based on deep acknowledgement of the Eastern platforms in parallel with integration of new technologies and abilities from worldwide hi-tech. In the domain of ground equipment, Aerostar has complete capabilities and is present into the market with repairs and modernization of the entire range 122mm launchers. The company is system integrator within the LAROM Programme for the Romanian Ministry of Defence. LAROM Programme is an integrated artillery system, being an upgrade and development stage of the 40APRA 122mm products, manufactured previously by Aerostar. Firing Command and Control System integrates Data Subsystem, Command Subsystem, Striking Means Subsystem and Logistics Subsystem. LAROM integrates a modern Artillery Command and Control System (ACCS) in C3I concept. The program contains activities as manufacturing and installation of the following components of the system:
