Aerostar S.A. has implemented an Integrated Quality and Environment Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, AQAP 2110 and ISO 14001.
The Integrated Quality and Environment Management System is certified by DQS, AEROQ and OMCAS and the Environment Management System by DQS.
Aerostar holds the approval for the production of aircraft products, parts and equipment for civil aircraft (EU 748/2012 – Annex 1; Part 21) and for the maintenance of civil aircraft and aircraft components (EU 1321/2012 – Annex 2; Part 145) granted by the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority.
Aerostar holds the approval for the design of repairs and minor modifications on large civil aircraft, issued by the European Agency for Safety in Aviation.
Aerostar is an approved supplier of the Romanian Ministry of National Defence.
Aerostar is authorised for the manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft and spaceships and designated as the maintenance centre for the F-16 aircraft by the Direction of Defence Industry from the Ministry of Economy.
The company management is constantly preoccupied to improve the performance and effectiveness of the Quality Management System by correlating the practical settlement of aspects referring to quality, with Aerostar’s strong points: support from the management, an inventory of advanced technologies and installations, specialized personnel, trained and highly experienced, experts in quality management (quality professionals, quality managers, quality auditors), motivating the employees for the results of their work.
