Programmes - Jet Engines Overhaul
In parallel with military jet fighters maintenance, Aerostar can supply to the customer the overhaul of the engines installed on these aircraft. There is, built up along the years, the technological and logistic ability to recover the operational potential of all jet engines from the inventory of Romanian Air Forces (as main customer) and for recent types (which belong to foreign customers).

- M-701 C-500
- Turbostarter Saphire-5
- VK-1 and WJ-5
The engines are completely dismantled, each component being repaired in compliance with it's specific route card; mandatory replacements are performed; the rotables (compressor and turbine rotors) are dynamically balanced; after general assembly there are executed test bench runs in a computer aided installation and final detailed adjustments are applied; finally, the engine is directed to the airplanes area in order to be installed on aircraft or is delivered directly to the client.
