Programmes - Civil Aviation Maintenance
The company is authorized Part-145 for civil aviation maintenance and completed gradually the activities in this field, today being authorized for such kind of works for Boeing 737 aircraft series 200-900, BAe 146 series 100-300 and AVRO 146 series RJ70/RJ85/RJ100/RJ115, SAAB 340 and SAAB 2000 for certain components and systems.
According to regulations, the certified types of activities are level A, B, C and D maintenance, structural modifications, avionics upgrades.
BAe Systems (UK), which acts in the defence and aerospace industries, has assigned Aerostar as prime contractor into cargo aircraft production programme through industrial conversion of the passenger airplanes, launched at the end of January 2007.
